Bonjour tout le monde!
Just a quick update today. I forgot to post on Friday that there has been a date change for our Grands Chefs presentation due to a scheduling conflict at the school. Our Grands Chefs is now Tuesday March 6th. This is good news in that students now have an extra week to practice and memorize their presentations. We will still be beginning our presentations after lunch, around 12:15 in the Foods Room. All parents are invited and I hope you can attend! This is a great opportunity for us to show off our swanky new language skills!!! I do apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.
I hope everyone has a fantastic night!
A demain,
:)

Bonjour tout le monde!
Wow what a day! We are all pretty squirrly getting excited for spring break! But overall we're doing alright. If parents could please talk with their child about speaking ONLY FRENCH in class that would be a big help. We have TONS of English going on right now.
Yesterday and today we did two work periods. I'm talking desks separated, no talking, nose to the grindstone work sessions. Whew! It was pretty incredible. But now almost everyone is caught up on work! :) A few students still have some assignments to do, but overall we are doing much better. The amount of unfinished work tells me that some of us haven't been doing our HOMEWORK. GASP! Shock! Awe! Which in turn means that I'll be doing some RaNDOm homework checks coming up. YIKES. Guess we better get our work done (again GASP! Shock! awe!) who would think that we need to do homework?
Anyways, here is what's on the board today:
French:
Grands Chefs - Presentations NEXT TUESDAY!
That's all folks!
À demain

Bonjour tout le monde!
I hope everyone is doing well. We have some awesome fun projects coming up - Grands Chefs, and some plays and we are starting electricity Monday - YAY!! I love teaching the electricity unit - it's a lot of FUN.
I do want to give everyone a heads up that we are 4 weeks from Spring Break, which is really exciting but also means we are heading into a CRUNCH TIME for projects and assignments. It is really important that we stay caught up with our homework and revision and use our class time wisely, otherwise we risk falling behind. That said... consider yourselves WARNed. Lol. Did I use that joke yet? I crack myself up. Ok here is today's homework:

Happy studying!

French:
- Livre de moi - section 11 - Ma routine de tous les jours - rough copy - due TOMORROW
- Finish 4-5 more questions from the number line assignment - or finish it, whichever comes first!
- QUIZ TOMORROW - The United Nations, Rights, and Privileges. Have your son / daughter explain their notes to you! That could be quite the challenge! We really need to review for this quiz, or it will be really hard. As of this morning before lunch, everyone had a notes sheet to study from. So I expect that we will all come prepared.
Happy studying!

mercredi le 8 février
Bonjour!!! Here is our homework:
French:
À demain,
:)
French:
- Livret de nourriture - this is a practice booklet that needs to be completed mostly at home. I am assigning a bit for homework every day. We should be finished pages 1-10 by tonight.
- Livre de moi - working on good copies of secion 9 (mes amis) and section 10 (mes sentiments) at home. Very little class time will be given to this. We have lots going on so there will be a bit of homework coming your way.
- Grands Chefs - watch for a newsletter coming home inviting parents to our grands chefs presentations. For now we are only in the planning stages, but students should bring a simple recipe to school by Friday.
- Work for 20 minutes on the number lines. After 20 minutes that's enough and we can do more tomorrow in class.
- Quiz Friday - on the United Nations, rights and privileges. We have notes to review from, please make sure that we are all reviewing! This quiz will be a tough one!
À demain,
:)
