Hello to my wonderful Grade 6 students and their parents!
I would like to welcome you all to Grade 6 and I am so excited to be able to teach you French this year! It will be so much fun!
In the past I have posted homework in a blog, however, this year I'd like to try something different. It will be the students responsibility to ensure that their homework is written in their agenda each day and I will e-mail out important due dates and upcoming events as needed. I'm hoping this will be easier for myself and parents!
I am however, keeping my blog site updated because of the web links posted on the side. There are some great links to French websites that can be useful for review or just to play en français!
Be sure to bookmark www.wordreference.com which is an awesome online dictionary that can be used at home - it's a great quick reference to look up words and expressions. Also, feel free to check out some of the game sites, there are some vocab building games as well as some flash games students might like. And all in French. Woo hoo!
I may also update the useful links as the year goes on so that we can all access information needed for research projects at the same time.
